About Us
Upon entering River of Life Church, two words could describe what many have both felt and experienced: sensing the love of the Father and flowing in the freedom of the Holy Spirit. The first lesson that is taught in our Core Values class for new members is the “Father’s Heart of Love”. We have all come out of one of two backgrounds that were not edifying: the addictive (toxic relationships) spirit of the younger brother or the striving, performance of the older brother (from the parable of the Prodigal Son). At River of Life, we desire to embrace a third option, the loving heart of the Father: receiving the robe of Christ’s righteousness, the ring of His authority and the sandals of His peace.
As a result of this foundation, the bi-products are a Body that truly loves each other and a worship experience that allows for great freedom of expression: dancing, waving flags, clapping, lifting holy hands to God and allowing the Holy Spirit time and place to do what He does best: heal the body, heal the brokenhearted and reveal the power and presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
