David and Ina Newell are the Senior Pastors of River of Life Church, which was founded in 1997. David received a graduate degree at Princeton Theological Seminary and Ina received her undergraduate degree at Loyola University. David and Ina met and married in New Orleans at Word of Faith Temple in 1970. They both spent 25 years as staff pastors under Pastor Charles Green, developing the youth ministry and founding Word of Faith Bible College. After 3 years pastoring in Shreveport, Louisiana and 1 year on the evangelistic field, they came into the Triangle region in order to plant River of Life.

 

Serving with David & Ina are the following pastoral team:

Dempsey and Roz Bond are the Associate Pastors. They are over the youth ministry and both wear a number of hats in various ministries.

Peter and Jannah Nelson help in pastoral care and Jannah serves as the registrar for Charis Bible College, a branch of the Andrew Wommack Ministries in Colorado Springs. She also serves as a co-leader in the Healing Rooms ministry.

Gintas Abarius assists Ina in the ministry of worship. Gintas is married to Violetta who helps in the overall prayer ministry.

Barnabas & Joyce George help to lead the Healing Rooms ministry as well as serve on the altar team.

Jody Nolf is pastor over the altar team, making sure the prayer needs of the people are well provided.

Randy and Nora Robbins head up our prophetic teams and Randy oversees the men’s ministry.

Maud Pantiledes serves as a pastoral care ministry.

Charles & Judy Cash head up the Intercessory Prayer ministry at River of Life church.
